The City of Batavia is seated in both DuPage and KaneCounties and is approximately 40 West of Chicago.

The Batavia Public School District 101 serves students from grades 6,200 students in grades K-12. The district currently consists of six K-5 elementary schools, one 6-8 middle school, and Batavia High School.
