Founded in 1881, the Village of Elburn is centrally located in KaneCounty and is approximately 46 miles West of the Chicago Loop. The Elburn Metra Station opened in January 2006 and operates between Elburn and Chicago on the Union Pacific/West Line with 17 Metra stops inbetween.
